Mrs. Alice Coffman Graves, 95, died Wednesday morning, August 31, at a hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon, September 2, at 2 o'clock at the First Baptist Church in Athens, Ala., with the Rev. Tilford L. Jenkins officiating.
Mrs. Graves, a native of Giles County and a Baptist, was born March 17, 1871, the daughter of the late James S. and Alice Barnett Coffman. Her husband, John Graves, died several years ago. They resided in Athens a number of years prior to Mr. Graves death.
Mrs. Graves is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C.W. Amis of Nashville; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was the aunt of Mrs. Mary C. Rambo of Pulaski.
