Amos Scronce, Furniture Employee 77, of Route 2 died Oct. 29, 1990, at Lincoln County Hospital. Funeral is 3 p.m. Wednesday at Reepsville Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Harold King will officiate. Burial is in the church cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Warlick Funeral Home. Mr. Scronce, a retired furniture employee, was born in Catawba County, son of the late Charlie and Elizabeth Smith Scronce.

Survivors are wife, Annie Mae Scronce; sons, Harold Scronce of Newton, Dean Scronce; daughters, Mrs. Ruby Pendleton, Mrs. Mary Phillips, Mrs. Hazel Saunders; brothers, Marvin Scronce, Jesse Scronce; sisters, Mrs. Frances Barnes of Gastonia, Mrs. Lona Holbrooks, Mrs. Ella Haynes, both of Vale, Mrs. Winnie Cody of Pompano Beach, Fla., Mrs. Timmie Chapman, Mrs. Texie Gales; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
