William Albert Corl, 70, of E. Main St., Pine Grove Mills, died at his home today at 7 a.m.

Born June 26, 1898, in Ferguson Township, he was the son of William K. and Cora Etta Garner Corl. On Sept. 20, 1922,
he married Clara E. Trostle, who survives with the following children:

Mrs. Elizabeth Whitbred, Lemont; William K. Corl, Mrs.Robert Sprankle, Mrs. Shirley Drew, Sheldon Corl, all of State College; James C. Corl, Mrs. Esther Luse, Theodore E. Corl, all of State College RD; Mrs. Arnold Levine, Bellefonte, and Mrs. Beverly Haynes, Gainesville, Fla.

Surviving brothers and sisters are Mrs. J. Foster Musser, A. Brooks Corl, Miss Esther V. Corl, all of State College RD; Clayton L. Corl and Mrs. Florence E. Wogan, Juniata; Frederick N. Corl, Pennsylvania Furnace; Norman H. Corl and Robert I. Corl, Pine Grove Mills. Also surviving are 31 grandchildren.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Bellefonte, and St. Peter's United Church of Christ at Pine Hall where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Peter D. Mackey and Rev. Robert L. Rohrbaugh officiating. Internment will be in the Centre County Memorial Park." (Obituary - Centre Daily Times, July 17, 1968)
