HENDERSON - Services for Foster E. Davis, 89, of Henderson, will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson, with the Revs. Bill Kuykendall and Steve Butler officiating. Interment will be in Davis Cemetery. Mr. Davis died August 15, 2008, at his residence, after a lengthy illness.

Born April 18, 1919, in Rusk County, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II, retired from Eastex Telephone CO-OP in 1984, continued his interest in raising cattle and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Irma Brooks Hammett Davis; son, Aubrey Hammett; and daughter, Carolyn Sue Stephens.
