Her obituary from the January 14, 1926 Republican:

Nancy Jane Campbell, the fifth child of John and Lavina Elmore, was born in Grayson county, Kentucky, February 13, 1847. In 1865, when the deceased was 18 years of age, the family moved to Hendricks county, Indiana, and made their home near the present one [in Franklin Township]. On November 13, 1869, she was married to John M. Campbell. To this union were born ten children, five of whom with the husband have preceded her in death. She was a member of the Mount Moriah Baptist church having confessed her Savior there on February 8, 1906. After a very brief illness she passed away, Saturday afternoon, January 2, 1926, age 78 years, 10 months and 19 days.

She is survived by two brothers, John S. of Brazil, and Lot, living near the home; five children, Virgil J. and Ollie J. at the home, Victor L. of Columbus, Jessie Hostettler, living near the home, and Collier C. of Montville, Connecticut.
