Mrs. Tessie Eva Middleton Salley, 86, of Marthaville, died at her residence Friday, May 30, after a brief illness.
Services were at 4 p.m., Saturday, in Marthaville Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Donald Doughty, and the Rev. N. G. Moody officiating. Burial was in Marthaville Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.
Survivors include five sons, the Rev. J. C. Salley of Waco, Tex., O. D. Salley of Marthaville, Billy Salley of Natchitoches, H. E., Salley of Robeline, and L. A. Salley of Portland, Ore.; five daughters, Mrs. Andrew Harville of Pineville, Mrs. Dahlia Hicks of Marthaville, Mrs. Ester Rogers of Shreveport, Mrs. Pearl Henry of Bossier City, and Mrs. Peggy Angeley of Bethany; one brother, George Middleton of Pleasant Hill; four sisters, Mrs. Sally Winn of Marthaville, Mrs. Audie Gowan of Bossier City, Mrs.
Irma Powell of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Loma Thompson of
Shreveport; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
