James Gifford Parsons, 90, of Victoria, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004. He was born Nov. 15, 1913, in Howard County, Ark. He was a retired driller for Leeper Water Well Drilling and a member of College Church of Christ.
Survivors: wife, Alma Newman Parsons; daughter, Mary Weir of Victoria; sons, David G. Parsons and John G. Parsons, both of Victoria; brother, Clifton Parsons of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
