Mrs Harrison F (Virginia Hughes) Blades, 77, of Decatur died 3:50pm Friday (Aug 28, 1987) in her home.
Services and requiem mass will be 10am Monday in St John's Episocopal Church with visitation 6 to 7:30pm Sunday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Illiopolis. Memorials: St John's Episcopal Church.
Mrs Blades was born in Minneapolis, Kan, daughter of Edward and Johnanna E Hughes. She was a member of St John's Episcopal Church. She married Harrison Frederick Blades in 1930. He died in 1975.
Surviving are her sone, Harrison "Bud" Blades Jr of Decatur; daughter, Mrs Jack (Priscilla) Burnett of Decatur; five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and grandchild.
