Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Louise Emerson, 62, Athens, who died Thursday at the Athens Nursing Home, will be at 10 a.m. today at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Athens City Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Carwile, Athens; a son, Charles Emerson, Athens; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Samples, Huntsville, Mrs. Lillie Arban, Athens and Mrs. Ellen Braden, Athens; and five grandchildren.
