CACHE -- Funeral for Joe Delbert Thomas, 71, Cache, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cache High School Auditorium, Cache, with the Rev. Charles Kriss and the Rev. Jennifer Long officiating.
Mr. Thomas died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at his home.
Burial will be at Cache Cemetery under direction of People's Co-operative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf.
He was born Oct. 14, 1936, in Lawton, to Zelda Harris Thomas and Grover Thomas. He married Velva Watts Thomas on May 11, 1957, at Cache. He worked in the copper mines in the San Manuel, Ariz. area for 20 years then returned to Cache and taught carpentry at the Vo-tech school in Lawton for 21 years.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cache United Methodist Church.
