Alice M. Aitken

BRISTOL- Mrs. Alice Mary Aitken 65, of Timberlane, died at home Sunday evening after a long illness.

She was born in Laconia March 22, 1922, daughter of the late Elmer J. and Mariann (Mathieu) Constant and had resided in this community for two years. She had previously made her home in Lochmere and in Laconia for many years.

Mrs. Aitken was a laundry technician at the McKerley Health Care Center, Laconia and a communicant of St. Joseph Church, also of Laconia.

Survivors include her husband, Robert A. Aitken Jr. of Bristol; three sons, Arthur C. Sinclair Jr. of Bristol, Jason M. Sinclair of Lakeport and Shawn Sinclair of Belmont; four daughters, Mrs. Nancy Spear of Gilford, Mrs. Linda Warren of Centerville, Mass. Mrs. Melissa Gomez of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Mary Day of Sanbornton; 17 grandchildren; a brother, Henry Constant of Londonderry; a sister, Mrs. Frances Savard of Freemont Calif.; several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be conducted at the wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, Laconia on Tuesday evening.

Interment will be in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery in the Spring.
