OXFORD - Sylvia D. YOUNG, age 88, a resident of 715 College St., died Wednesday, September 5, 2001, at Brantwood Nursing Center.
A native of Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. YOUNG, Sr. and Winnie Mae Bell YOUNG, a member of Oxford United Methodist Church and was retired from Union National Bank, after 45 years of service.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Eakes Funeral Chapel, in Oxford, by the Rev. Gala Collins. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Surviving are her sister, Ardyce YOUNG Clark and husband, Aubrey, of Oxford; and several nieces and nephews.
