Tipton Conservative - May, 1995 - Funeral services for Frankie Everett Lovell, 70, Rochester, were held May 13, 1995 at Fry Funeral Home, with the Rev. Norman Anderson officiating. Sharon stiff was the organist and Kathy Wagner sang. pallbearers were Bruce, Denny, Warren and Roger Lovell, Darrel Gritton and Wayne Ford. Doug Ford was honorary pallbearer. Burial was in the Rochester cemetery, with full military rites. Mr. Lovell died May 10 at his home following an extended illness. The son of George and Ethel Morgan Lovell, he was born July 13, 1924 in Cedar county. He attended the Snaggy Ridge and Mt. Zion country schools. He married Myrtle Ellen Collison Nov. 21, 1943 in Rochester. Mr. Lovell served in the U.S. Army from February 1944 to October 1945. He was a farmer, butcher, construction worker and real estate agent. He was a member of the Tipton VFW and Tipton Moose Lodge. Mr. Lovell is survived by his wife, Myrtle, Rochester; his mother, Ethel Yerington, West Branch; 3 daughters, Joanne (Cecil) Williams, Rochester, Jayne (Robert) Spies, West Branch; Julyne (Charlie) Kenney, Courtland, Ill.; 2 sons, David (Sue) Lovell, Atalissa and Frankie (Patricia) Lovell, Rochester; a brother, William, Rochester; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father in 1951; a sister, Helen Lovell Emerson; 3 brothers, Kenneth, Russell and Georgie; and a great-grandson, Mason.
