Bartlett Hopkins, 68 years old, widely known farmer of the Davidson community in the northwestern part of Crawford county died last Thursday at his home after a long illness. He had been a member of the Missionary Baptist church for more than 50 years.
Mr. Hopkins is survived by his wife; Mrs. Lida Hopkins, three daughters and two sons, several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service was held Friday afternoon at the Bryant cemetery near Cove City with Rev. Glenn Dipboye and Rev. Roy Rose, Freewill Baptist ministers officiating.
