She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Payne or Chesterfield and Linda Nichols of Fluvanna; two brothers Shirl Ownby of Charles City and Guthrie Ownby of Quinton; four sisters, Margie Simon, Powhatan, Muriel Sorenson, Myrtle Beach, Joyce Donner, Matoaca and Maxine Cable of Cartersville; two grandchildren and one great grandson. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy., Powhatan and where services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday.
