Betty Jane Henry Wood, 81, formerly of Rileyville Virginia and Front Royal, Virginia, went to be with the Lord April 22, 2018 at the home of her loving daughter in Middletown, Virginia surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, April 29 at 4 p.m. at the Rileyville Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the Rileyville Cemetery.
Betty was born March 2, 1937 in Front Royal, daughter of the late Millard Lee Henry and Evelyn Mae Updike Henry.
She was a member of the Rileyville Baptist Church.
Betty and her late husband, Cecil, owned and operated Woods Grocery and Garage for many years in Rileyville.
Surviving are her loving and devoted daughter, Lisa Beth Salazar and husband Ahmed "Moe" Moustafa of Middletown; two sisters, Loretta Henry of Front Royal and Alice Faye Morneault of Middletown; brother, William C. "Bill" Henry of Strasburg; grandchildren, Timmy, Jason, Krystle, Donna Lynn, Aaron, Garrett, Kristina, Traci, and Missy; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Cecil Wood; daughter, Cindy Pack; son, Dennis "Denny" W. Henry; three brothers, Smitty Henry, Hugh "Ronnie" Henry, and Phillip Henry; and sister, Frances Butts.
