Tipton Adv. May 6 1982. Funeral services for W. Glenn Ridenour, 79, El Dorado, Kans., former Tipton businessman, will be held at the Tipton Bible church at 3 pm Saturday, May 8 with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Mr. Ridenour died at his home in El Dorado May 2. Burial will be in the Rochester cemetery. The son of Leo and Jennie Dotson Ridenour, he was born in Cedar county Feb. 9, 1903. He graduated from Tipton high school with the class of 1920. He was married to Edith Crees in Cedar county Jan. 9, 1924. Mr. Ridenour operated lumber yards in Stanwood, West Branch, Tipton, and Vinton and was a rancher in Kansas. He is survived by three daughters, nine grandchildren, and a sister Mrs. Eva Peter.
