Funeral services for Earl Leo Ridenour, 79, were held at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home March 18 with the Rev. Ralph Adamson in charge. Pallbearers were Arnold and Donald Ridenour, Mearl Jennings, Dwight Dean, William Goettle, and Clarence Baker. Laura Geller was organist. Mr. Ridenour died of a heart attack March 14 at Ames where he lived with his brother Hayes Ridenour. The son of John D. and Sarah Kester Ridenour, he was born Mar. 9, 1882. He was educated in the rural schools and spent most of his life in Cedar co. where he was a farmer. He was divorced from his wife. He is survived by a son Glenn, daughter Mrs. Eva Peter and his brother.
