All of my records say Sophia was first married to Allen Leonard and had children. Then she married JOSIAH S Pelton. Also, according to the Pelton History book, her father was Holden Allen.

and Jane Leonard, both dead. She died at Vermillion,
March 5, 1878, and Mr. Pelton died January 5,
1886.
