Nellie is buried along side her sisters, Ethel, Geneva & Pauline. Brothers Olin and Elby are near, as is, her mother Nora & father Harry. Son Norman(Harry V) is in the same plot.

Nellie Lee Richards, 91, of Shenandoah, and a resident of MontVue Nursing Home in Luray for the past twelve years, died at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital on March 23, 1999. She was born in Shenandoah on February 27, 1908, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Nora Lloyd Stanley.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Shenandoah Baptist Church, but attended the Antioch Independent Bible Church of Luray.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Richards, a son, Norman Stanley and a daughter, Mary Donavan.
Mrs. Richards is survived by a son, Wayne Foltz of Elkton; a daughter, Janice Robinson and husband, Robbie of Brewer, ME; nine grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and a special niece, Becky Campbell of Luray.
Funeral services will be held at the Kyger Funeral Home of Shenandoah 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 1999, with the Revs. Frank Painter and Hudson Nuckols officiating. Burial will be in the Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The casket will not be opened.
