Ineatha Olivia Lackey, 67, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008, at a local hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Abilene Funeral Home Chapel of Hope, 3349 N. 12th Street. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery, directed by Abilene Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lackey was born on March 3, 1941, in Waco. She and Buddy Lackey were married July 24, 1957. He died in 1993. While living in Abilene, she was the owner of the Pancake House for many years. She also was in sales for CrossRoad Motors. She was a beautiful, creative and gifted woman and loved by many friends.

Survivors include: a sister, Melba Lackey (Johnny) of Abilene; two sons, Ricky (Theresa) and Barry Lackey, all of Abilene; two daughters, Gina Hall (Mike) and Shelly Cowart (Ron), all of Abilene; a brother, Steve Pitts of Fort Worth; her 14 grandchildren, Missy. Buddy, Toy, Heather, Stormy, Missy, (and their spouses), Byron, Dylan, Matthew, Kaysee, Aaron, Montie, Katie, Jarron ; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins and in-laws.

Mrs. Lackey was preceded in death by her husband and daughter-in-law, Kim Lackey.

We will miss our parents dearly, but we know they are happy to be together again, forever! The wonderful memories we have and their love and faithfulness to us, will carry us through until we also move with them to Heaven. We know God loves us Mama, because he gave us You! Kiss and hug Daddy for us!

The family will receive friends at 2226 South 8th Street, Abilene, Texas, beginning 6:00 p.m. Monday.
