Eva Crump Jordan was born April 18,1892, daughter of Seth and Frances McElroy Crump. She attended public schools in Lamar County and married Mr. Jordan in 1909. He died in 1954. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cunningham. She and Mr. Jordan lived in Minter until 1937, when they moved to Paris.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Nadine Price of Paris; one son, E. J. Jordan of Paris; four grandchildren, including Mrs. Nita Joyce Aiken, of Houston, whom she reared; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, R. R. (Rook) Jordan of May 25, 1974.
Pallbearers were Randy Jordan, Ricky Jordan, Charles Jordan, John Aiken, Danny Crump, and Johnny Musgrove.
