Funeral services for Mr. William Clarence Burns, 79, Athens Rt. 9, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tonis Davis officiating. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Burns died Saturday at the Decatur General Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Lee Burns, Athens Rt. 9; one daughter, Mrs. Harry L. Jackson, Blountsville; one brother, Percy E. Burns, Athens; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Mae Reed, Moulton, Mrs. Annie Meadows, Athens, Mrs. Nina Sudberry and Mrs. Jewel Kennemer, both of Tennessee; and one grandson.
Mr. Burns was a native of Franklin County, Tennessee.
