Frank was born in Falkoping, Sweden. He came to America in 1881 at the age of 21 and resided in Aurelia, IA until 1901 when he came to Fulda. He was united in marriage to Emma Bergman at Cherokee, IA in December 1895. Frank had been a patient of the Slayton Memorial Hospital for the past 2 years. Funeral services were held February 10th from the Lime Lake Lutheran Church in Avoca.

Frank & Emma were the parents of Carl, Helen (Carl) Olson, Mabel (Irving) Ames, Anna (Richard) Carlson , Minnie Ommen, Lillian Steffes, Alfred, Arthur, Herman & Edna (Fred) Evers. An infant son preceded Frank in death.

Frank's siblings include 1 brother & 3 sisters all whom preceded him in death.
