Nellie Grace Cox was born June 24, 1886 in Mulvane, KS and died Monday, Sep. 6, 1965 in Wichita, KS.
She married James Blaine Davis Oct. 31, 1906 in Lamont, OK and two daughters, Elsie Ethel and Jessie Rosamond were born to this union.
She married Harry S. DeWitt in 1950. They lived in Brahman, OK for 14 years, until his death in 1964.
She was a member of Wichita Church of Christ and the Busy Bee Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessie (Earl) Milligan and Elsie Philips of Wichita; one step-daughter, Mildred Fleishman; five step-sons, George Fleishman, Kenneth, Don, Guy and Ed DeWitt all of Oklahoma; two sisters, Katie Hinkle and Myrtle Lewis; three brothers, Walter, Paul and Mervyn Cox.
