Bastian, Mark A.

Mark A. Bastian, 47, Kaukauna, died unexpectedly as the result of an automobile accident, July 24, 2008. He was born Jan. 14, 1961, to Ken W. and Rosemarie A. (Miller) Bastian, in Appleton. Mark was a Senior Estimator for AZCO Inc. He enjoyed all sports and excelled in bowling, golf, basketball and baseball. Mark was also an avid spectator at his children's many sporting events.
He is survived by his wife, Mary B. (Coenen) Bastian; four children, Sam, James, Christopher "Chris" and Allison; his mother, Rosemarie Bastian, Appleton; two brothers, Greg (Debbie) Bastian, Hilbert; Scott (Leanne) Bastian, Kaukauna; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Aurella Coenen; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sue (Rick) Elkington, Phyllis (Dennis) Techlin, Carl (Margaret) Coenen, Vicky (Richard) Levesque, Carol Coenen, Steven (Lori) Coenen, Joe (Sue) Coenen, Shelia(Jim) Bowers, Ronald (Tina) Coenen, Daniel (Patti) Coenen, Ed (Rhonda) Coenen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


He was preceded in death by his father, Ken W. Bastian and a brother-in-law, John J. Coenen.
Services for Mark will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 31, 2008, at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
Mark saved many lives
by his donation
of organs, eyes,
tissue and bone.
