Funeral services for Mrs. Bettie Johns, 82, of Lawtey, who died July 21 in Bradford County Hospital, were held at 11 A.M. Thursday, July 23, in Key-McCabe Northside Chapel, Jacksonville, with Rev. Tommy Howe officiating. Interment was in Manntown Cemetery. Mrs. Johns was a native of Charlton County, Georgia and a member of the Congregational Methodist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Marvin Wood and Mrs. Charles Wyman, Jacksonville, and Mrs. Laury Carter and Mrs. Othma Norman, Lawtey; two sons, Lacy and Charles Johns, Jacksonville, a brother, Harmon Harris, Glen St. Mary, and 12 grandchildren.
