Adeline Hennecke, 82, of Mentz, passed away April 30 at Monte Siesta Nursing Home in Austin.
She was born in Dime Box, Dec. 23, 1922 to Walter and Alma (Holy) Fritsche and married Royal Hennecke, Oct. 27, 1979. She was previously a potter at Alexander Plant Farm and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Joyce Davis; sons, Jimmy Davis and Curtis Zitterich Jr.; sisters, Betty Zitterich and Margaret Wallis; and brother, George Fritsche.
She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Wilburn Zitterich of Austin and Robert and Wanda Davis of Splendora; sisters, Frida Griffith of Oregon; brothers, Louis Fritsche of Houston and Charles Fritsche of Bedise; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted May 3 at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus with the Rev. Vernon Rabel officiating. Interment followed at Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Columbus.
Pallbearers were Bryan and Aaron Davis, Bobby Griffith, Johnny Zitterich and Bill, Rick and Leon Fritsche
