Bruce McQueen, age 86, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away peacefully Wednesday night, August 6, 2008 at his home. Born August 29, 1921 in Jackson County, KY to the late Dave & Mary Jane (Fowler) McQueen. Mr. McQueen retired from H.H. Robertson in Connersville, IN and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Jackson Co. for over 50 years. He was a man of integrity who loved everyone. In his younger days, he played Bluegrass music in a band and still enjoyed playing in his later years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by beloved wife Emma K. (Banks) McQueen on June 11, 2007: and eight brothers and sisters.

Survived by son Ricky Z. McQueen & wife Dinah of West Alexandria; grandsons Ricky Jason McQueen & wife Sharon of West Alexandria, and their children Maddyn and Gage; James Kurry McQueen & wife Kelly of Eaton, and their children Jayda and Jacey: brothers Vernon McQueen of Connersville, IN and Elbert McQueen of Jackson Co., KY.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 11 , 2008 with Pastor Jeremy W. Halstead presiding. Interment Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.
