Married Armentie Snyder at Canfield on December 28, 1903. She was the daughter of John W. and Elizabeth Snyder. Survived by wife, daughters Elizabeth Ada age 11 and Wilda Myrtle age 7, father, brothers John Tinney of Clarksburg and Norman Tinney of Parkersburg, Sister Mrs. Lee Johnson of Canfield and half-brothers Ovis and Oscar Tinney of Canfield. Buried in the family cemetery in Canfield.
