DNA Update on Melvin Garland Wolverton Melvin Garland Wolverton

Melvin it seems moved to Oregon early in April 1948 and was working at a Lumber Mill in Bend, Oregon and met divorcé Nova Elizabeth Powell-Hendrix. A brief relationship around Apr 11th, and Nova gave birth to a son Robert Ray Radford Robert Ray Hendrix 11 Jan 1949- Nova died 17 Jul 1949 her son Robert was adopted and his last name was changed from Hendrix to Radford.

DNA confirmed this finding of Melvin and Nova. Nova's son Robert is a half-brother to Melvin's daughter Betty Jean. Robert's daughter Christine took the DNA test with ancestry.com and had a match with Betty Jean as a half niece. Robert had other children and was married.
We would have never known this information had it not been for DNA.
