James "Jim" Antonakos, 52, of Stevensville, Maryland died unexpectedly Aug. 4, 2008 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mr. Antonakos was born Jan. 14, 1956, in Manhattan, N.Y. to George Antonakos of Ohio and the late Bessie Kastanis. He graduated from Blair High School in 1974.
He worked for the Montgomery County Department of Transportation for 30 years.
His daughters were the loves of his life. He also enjoyed sports, reading and cooking. He was known for a boisterous and energetic sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Chris McDonald Antonakos; two daughters, Taylor, 4, and Karlie Antonakos, 2; and two sisters, Helen Antonakos-Dail of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Irene Meeker of Simi Valley, Calif.
Interment in Stevensville Cemetery.
