Mrs. Bertha Mae Greenhill, 95, passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 in Corsicana. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday Aug. 7, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Mt. Calm with the Rev. John Lawrence officiating. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Bertha was born in Chico, Texas to the late Francis Mitchell and Phillie Belle (Ross) Cox. She was a lifelong resident of the Mount Calm area and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Mount Calm and was employed as an executive secretary for Heart of Texas Homebuilders Association until her retirement in 1985. She was a cattle rancher for many years with her beloved husband, George Watson Greenhill.

She was preceded her in death by her husband in 1987; and a daughter, Netra Woodall in 2005.

Her survivors include daughter, Joyce Parsons, of Mount Calm; grandchildren, Kathy Minish, Paul Woodall, Suzie Brown, Kelly Woodall, Lori Williams, Tommy Roberts Jr. and Amanda Prater; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Monnie Ward and Ruby Ritchie.
