From her obituary:
Always ready to help others and to give freely of her time, she had led an active and busy life, with homemaking and nine children to care for. For some time her strength had been failing and she was confined to bed for the final 14 weeks of her life. Her funeral rites were held at her home and at Salem Lutheran Church, held by Rev. A. L. Peterson. Mrs. D. P. Quimby and Philip Ring sang vocal numbers.
Two of Josephine's brothers who also immigrated to the United States:
John August Bjork
Charles Petter Bjork
