They were parents of: Samuel Henry Powe IV; George Lee Powe; Waldamar Stover Powe; Laura Elizabeth Powe (married Charles Gordon Byrd) and James Ruben Powe. Eula loved to sing and play the piano. She enjoyed attending and participating in gospel singing when she lived in Wayne County, MS. She was a dedicated member of the Baptist Church. She was also an accomplished seamstress. She loved her family, her friends and her church and they loved her.
