Obituary.
Gooding - Garmon Frederick Brown, 74, of Gooding, died Friday morning at Gooding Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 27, 1907, at Idaho Falls, his family moved to Carey when he was a small child, and he went to school there. He married Elsie Rudd June 5, 1928, at Hailey. They farmed at Carey until he retired and moved to Gooding in 1973. Brown served on the board of directors of the Federal Land Bank and on the board of The Little Wood River Canal Co. Surviving are: his wife of Gooding, a son, Karl Brown, of Meridian; a daughter, Carroll Rogers of Gooding; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Nellie Pyrah of Carey, Dollie Albrethsen of Richfield, and Lottie Tulloch of Boise; and a brother, Richard Brown of Atomic City. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Mormon Church in Carey. Burial will be
in Carey Cemetery. Friends may call at the Demaray's Thompson Chapel in Gooding from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
