Death of Allen Baby
Betty Lou, four months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Allen passed away at the Methodist hospital Saturday, October 24th. The baby had been ill with dourble mastoid and an operation had been performed on each ear. Mr. and Mrs. Allen and baby had been making their home with Mrs. Allen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Silverthorne. Betty Lou was born June 7, 1931. She is survived by her parents, grandparents, four great grandparents and a great great grandmother, Mrs. Andrew Bennett. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the United Presbyterian church conducted by Reverend W. C. Porter. Burial was in the Montpelier cemetery near Patterson.
