The Star-Mirror, Moscow, Idaho, October 30, 1913: "The many friends of Miss Inez Overracker [sic], daughter of a prominent farmer of Latah county, will be shocked to hear of her death after a brief illness at Pullman where she was attending college. Death was due to scarlet fever which prevented a public funeral and only immediate relatives were present at the interment which was made in Buchanan cemetery, Wednesday, the body being sent overland from Pullman. The deceased was a native of Latah county and was about 20 years of age. She had a host of friends in Moscow where she has always resided."
