MT. SAVAGE- Elmer C. Furlow, 77, of RD 1, died Yeasterday at Lions Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland, where he had been a patient one Month.
Mr. Furlow was born in Twiggtown, Son of the late Thomas A. adn Virginia (Rice) Furlow. He was a retired B&O carman and member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen and Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include his widow, Tiney (O'Baker) Furlow; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Crider, Waynesboro, Pa., and Mrs. Loretta Geary, here; two sons, Elmer C. Furlow Jr., Bedford Road, Cumberland, and Lester A. Furlow, here; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m.
A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 1 p.m. with Kenneth H. Clary officiation interment will be in the Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
