DEATH OF MRS. SARAH ANN HUFF

Mrs. Sarah Ann Huff, 86, widow of J. W, Huff, a pioneer farmer near Galesburg, Kans., died at 10 p. m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Glenn Tipton, 416 West Spring street. Her health had been failing gradually the past two years.

Sarah Ann Palmer was born Jan. 11, 1846, near Zanesville, Ohio. She was married to James W. Huff at Bloomington, Ill., in 1865, following his discharge from the army after serving in the Civil War. They moved to Kansas in 1873, settling on a farm near Ft. Scott. Later they moved on a farm, near Galesburg. Mr. Huff died Nov. 8,1913 at Parsons, Kans.

Mrs. Huff Is survived by, two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Tipton. of Neosho and Mrs. E. B. Padgett of Coffeyville, Kans.; two sons, J. E. Huff of Independence, Kans., and T. E. Huff of Cocomo, Mo.; one brother, three sisters, fifteen grandchildren and twenty great- grandchildren.

Funeral services in charge of Rev. Bowden, pastor of the Church of God, will be held at Galesburg, Kans., Thursday. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery beside her husband.
