Ruth Green was the widow of Major Roy A. Green (Ret. Army). She lived in Mansfield, AR for many years and was a charter member of Albert Pike Christian Church (later to become Crossview Christian Church) in Fort Smith, AR. She attended Minnesota Bible College. Ruth enjoyed collecting bird figures, particularly cardinals, and she loved to feed wild birds.

She was survived by one son, Richard Green, of Milton, MA.

Graveside services were held at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Mansfield, AR.

Cause of death: Complications of old age.
