Patricia "Pat" Kaney Wetherington Brockinton is the daughter of the late Ralph Kaney and Emma Godwin Kaney. She was a homemaker, member of the Fargo Evangelistic Church, Fargo Senior Citizens, Echols County Library Board, Echols County DFACS and the Echols County Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert C. Wetherington and Raymond Brockinton.

Survivors are four daughters and sons-in-law: Kathy & Charles Handley, Patricia & Gene Gray, Suzie Wetherington, and Judy & Chris Tolle; one son and daughter-in-law: Charles & Lorrie Wetherington; one sister: Betty Cason, Woodbine; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
