Born in Upland, he attended Resurrection of Our Lord School, graduated from St. James High School in 1964 and received a bachelor's degree and master's degree from Drexel University.
Mr. Horne was a self-employed Financial Analyst for 10 years. He previously worked for CNA.
He was a member of the Swarthmore Lions Club and a member of Notre Dame DeLourdes Church.
Mr. Horne was son of the late Clement and Mary D. McLaughlin Horne.
Survivors: Sisters, Marie Horne Flood of Bristol, Tenn., Anna Marie "Nancy" Horne of Swarthmore.
