Barbara Sloper was first married to Thompson Pickens, April 27, 1832, Chester, Meigs County, Ohio. Thompson was born in Maine and they had two children Mahala and Malinda. Thompson Pickens died in 1835.

Barbara married William Craig abt 1836/37 in Iowa and they had two children Benjamin F and Mary Ann. Widowed again in 1840 when William Craig drowned.

She married William Williams, August 6, 1849, Cedar County, Iowa. To this union four more children were born - Abagail D., George Walter, Emily Jane and Ambrose.

By the 1885 census, they were residing in Nuckolls County, Nebraska.
