Rose Ann Lambert, 68, died Thursday, June 8, 2006.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Tubbs, pastor, officiating and Garry Schwalk, minister of education and administrator, Phil Moore, minister of music, and Zane Powers, minister of students, assisting. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Lambert was born May 15, 1938, in Fort Smith, Ark., to George William and Hazel Blythe and lived in Dumas all her life. On Sept. 26, 1959, she married Larry Lambert in Amarillo.

She was a graduate of Dumas High School and co-owner and operator of Powell Abstract until it sold in 1996.

She was a 36-year member of First Baptist Church and was involved in many church activities, including 5-year-olds Sunday school teacher and director for 30 years. She always gave a helping hand for decorations and costumes at many church functions.

She was a loving, devoted Mother, Grandmother, daughter and sister.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; two daughters, Lynette Styne and husband Mike of Dumas and Lea Anne Wrestley and husband Brian of Amarillo; her mother, Hazel Blythe of Dumas; four brothers, Don Blythe of Lake Meredith and Jim Blythe, Bill Blythe and Benny Blythe, all of Lake Kiowa; and four grandchildren, Chris, Caleb, Emilea and Macey.

The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. Second, Dumas, TX 79029, American Cancer Society, 403 Pear, Dumas, TX 79029 or Gideons International, Dumas Camp, P.O. Box 432, Dumas, TX 79029.
