ANDREW J. GLOVER was born June 1830 in Crawford County Georgia to John Paschal Glover and Drucilla Evans. Andrew died April 23, 1911 in Tuscaloosa, Al. He married EMILINE MILLER February 13, 1868 in Barbour Co., Alabama. She was born June 1840 in Al., and died August 28, 1910 in Clayton, Barbour Co., Alabama. Andrew was a cobbler and a farmer. Andrew was a devout Primitive Baptist. Andrew was a landowner and farmer in Barbour County was well respected by all that knew him. He lived in precinct 6 Williamson, which is about 10 miles from Clayton, Al. When The War of Northern Aggression erupted Andrew joined Kolb's Battery Light Artillery on April 30, 1862 he was 31 years old at the time. He was the Company Teamster. He was wounded in Tennessee when kicked by a mule. He served through the entire war and surrendered along with all the other troops in Macon, Ga. April 20,21 1865. The war was now over. Andrew married Mrs. S. E. Moneyham February 13, 1868. Together they raised 6 sons of theirs all born in Barbour County and a daughter Francis Moneyham of hers by a first marriage to S. E. Moneyham.Charlie Glover, John L. Glover was born December 28, 1871 in Clayton, Al., and died October 17, 1945 in Clayton, Al.. He married Minnie L. Pharmer, daughter of Moses Pharmer and Lydia Pharmer. She was born February 25, 1878, and died February 12, 1952.
