Michael D. Chase, 45, of Starboard Drive, Cape Elizabeth Died From Kidney Disease On April 29, 2005, With His Loving Family At His Side. Michael Was Born In Portland, The Son Of David Arnold And Rachel Mongeau Chase. He Was Educated In The Westbrook School System, Graduating In 1977. Mike Was Diagnosed With Kidney Disease At 18 Years Old And Survived For 28 Years Having Gone Through Multiple Transplants And Subsquent Rejections Of Kidneys. Mike Was The Longest Living Survivor Of Kidney Disease In The State Of Maine, But Even More Memorable Was His Positive Attitude And Remarkable Christian Walk He Maintained Throughout His Years With This Horrible Disease. Mike Also Has 2 Wonderful Sisters, Laurie and Valerie.
Mike Played Football For The Westbrook High School Blue Blazes #58, And Also Was On The Wrestling Team. He Loved To Fish And Did A Lot Of Work & Volunteering For Friends Of Feral Felines. He Did Many Things For His Community And Recieved Many Awards. Mike Also Loved The Lord With All His Heart And Loved To Sing Songs Of Praise. Sometimes He Would Sing With 4+1 Quartet. Mike Has Had A Book Autobiography And Memoirs Michael Chase Done On Him.
