Linda Kay Calvin

Linda Kay Calvin, 61, of Cooper died July 30, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital in Greenville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church in Cooper with Stephen Miller, Terry Bryan and Jacob Jock officiating. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville.



Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Delta Funeral Home in Cooper.



Daughter of Cecil L. and Edith Ray Layman Cole, she was born Jan. 14, 1947, in Whitewright. She worked for TYCO (Kendall) Sherwood Medical in Commerce. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Cooper.



Survivors are her father of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher C. and Jennifer Calvin of Flint; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nici and Kraig Betterton of Cooper and Chandra Dealess and Mark Andro of Forney; sisters Beth Clark of Cooper, Cathy George of Como and Sylvia McGee of Greenville; and grandchildren Dania Erwin, Chleauxy Chyann Calvin, Sarah Betterton, Savannah Jones and Grace Dealess Andro.

Her mother preceded her in death Nov. 21, 2005.



Memorials may be made to the ALS Association.
