Funeral services for Honore Babb Johnson were held Thursday, November 11, 2010 in the Glenmora Church of Christ, Rev. Charles Seal officiated. Committal services followed in the Roselawn Cemetery. Honore, 78, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in the Matthew Memorial Health Care Center, Alexandria. She was born on February 23, 1932 in Glenmora to the union of Dallas Babb and Daveanna Block Babb. She was formerly employed with the Rapides Parish School Board Food Service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry J. "Jimmy" Johnson; three sisters, Evelyn Babb Parker, Tommie Babb Johnson and Gayle Babb Giles; four brothers, Joe Babb, A.B. Babb, J.D. Babb and Dallas "Diddle" H. Babb, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory are two sons both of Glenmora; two daughters and one son-in-law all of Glenmora; one sister of Glenmora; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; along with a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
