Arline was assigned as first cook in Hospital Officers mess, Mason General Hospital, Brentwood, NY. She served as combine mess sergeant and 1st cook for last five month of duty. She supervised 15 civilian personnel. Delegated duties to civilian personnel. Arline was familiar with regulations governing kitchen sanitation. She took inventories. Worked as first cook and baker at the WAC Detachment, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. She supervised preparation of foods. Made requisitions and purchase of supplies. Kept records of supplies, equipment and, mess accounts.
Arline's character and efficiency ratings were excellent throughout service in the corps.
Arline's brother Douglas Leo McIntire, is buried at Maine Verteran's Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Maine.
Her grand uncle, Robert Crawford McDowell, is buried at Togus National Cemetery, in Togus, Maine.
